Import Monzo CSV

Use this when you have a Monzo CSV export.

  1. Open Transactions.
  2. Select the Monzo tab.
  3. Drop or select one or more CSV files.
  4. Choose whether to merge files into one batch.
  5. Start the import.
  6. Wait for the progress dialog to finish.
  7. Open the created batch from Import History.

During import, GrantKeeper may:

  • parse CSV rows,
  • create batch entries,
  • download receipt images from receipt URLs,
  • generate conversion evidence for non-GBP transactions,
  • suggest a purchaser,
  • analyse VAT from receipt evidence.

Monzo VAT starts conservative because Monzo CSV data does not provide the same structured VAT information as some Revolut exports. Review VAT before exporting.

Money-in rows can appear in Money In Review. They may be refunds, reversals, or other credits.
