Chase receipts from a Table

**Chase Receipts** emails each purchaser about their entries with no receipt. It works three ways:

  • On a Table page, next to Re-upload, it covers that Table's entries. The number on the button is how many have no receipt.
  • On the Master Table, next to All Entries, it covers every open Table, the same as Chase on the dashboard, even while you've filtered to some Tables.
  • With rows selected in either table, Chase Receipts in the selection bar covers only those rows. Its number counts the selected rows with no receipt.
  1. Select Chase Receipts. The dialog lists each person and the entries they'll be asked about. Entries from Monzo or Revolut are tagged with the bank.
  2. People on your purchaser list are emailed at the address saved there. For anyone else, type an email address, or untick them.
  3. Add a note for anyone if you like, then select Send.

Each email lists the transactions with their date, vendor and amount. A Monzo or Revolut transaction asks them to open that bank's app, find the transaction and attach the receipt to it. Anything else, such as an entry added by hand, asks them to reply with the receipt. Replies come to you.

Once they've attached the receipts, export the same date range from the bank again and use Re-upload to bring them into the Table.

Entries asked about in the last 3 days (including by a statement's Chase Receipts before it was saved) are shown but not ticked; tick Ask again about…, or the person, to include them. The dialog says what it left out and why: entries refunded in full, entries whose purchaser is blank or the bank's name, and selected rows that already have a receipt. One email lists at most 100 entries, oldest first; anyone owed more can be sent the rest straight away. Entries asked about again only fill the room left, so they never push out one nobody has been asked about yet.
